Maryland has several places where you can really “shop till you drop”, There are individual shops and entire areas full of shops for you to explore. There is also a toy shop selling new and vintage toys and even video games. Ellicot City also has a furniture store called Classic Interiors, and there is an art store and various craft stores. If you are looking for antiques, then Emporium Antiques in Frederick is the place to visit. They sell a range of antiques as well as folk art, collectibles and various Americana pieces. For example, you can often find civil war relics for sale. The Emporium is a large 55,000 square foot warehouse that houses several specialty dealers. You can even find vintage jewelry, furniture and old vintage maps and globes. The building itself is old and historic which makes the perfect setting for displaying and selling vintage products.

If handcrafted wood products are what you are after, then a trip to 5 Year Wood in Cumberland would be worthwhile. This store stocks ornate and beautiful hand-crafted wood pieces, including small pieces of furniture. The products are also all made in the USA for those who only want to buy American-made products. Queenstown Premium Outlets is an outdoor mall found on the scenic eastern shores of the Chesapeake Bay. There are several name brand stores including Ralph Lauren, Polo, Under Armour and St John to name a few. There are lots of fashionable clothing stores for adults and children. Like most malls in America they have other stores such as shoe stores like Adidas, a bookstore named Book Warehouse and various places to eat.

A mall that is found in Hanover is Arundel Mills, which is owned by the same company that owns Queenstown Premium Outlets. It has a range of clothing stores again and also AT&T, various eating places and the well-known Bed, Bath and Beyond and Bass Pro shops. The latter two stores are very popular for buying household products and sporting and hunting goods, respectively.

Tanger Outlet at Ocean City is a shopping center with a large variety of stores, including 12 that sell shoes such as, for example, Adidas and Rack Room Shoes. There are three restaurants, one of which is a Japanese restaurant. There are several clothing outlets stores, such as Gap Outlet, Eddie Bauer Outlet and a Brooks Brothers factory store to name a few. Maryland has such a variety of stores stocking so many different products that no matter what you are looking to buy, you will no doubt find it somewhere.
